Water Familiarisation Course
Many people fly the Robinson R44 with either Pop-Out floats or Fixed Utility Floats, but they are rarely used “in anger”. On the other hand the question of what to do in the unlikely event of having to land on water does cross most pilots’ minds.
This course is designed to give the pilot additional knowledge in case they may one day have to land on water in an emergency.
The course is between 3 and 4 hours flying, depending on ability, and also 3 or 4 hours ground school.
